GOLD MEADALS FOR =16 AND-21 AT HOME INTERNATIONALS.
Well done to the under 16 and under 21, Irish Home International Teams who won GOLD MEADAL, in Scotland. Congrautlations to Niall Walters, from the Rinnashark club who was Captain of the under 16 team.
I belive the -16 had, 4 zone win and a second on day one, and, 1 frist ,2 seconds and 2, 4ths on day two.
-21 had 1 frist, 2 seconds 3rd and 4th on day one, and 4 frists and one second on day two.
Our seniors i think finished in 4th place overall.

Re: GOLD MEADALS FOR =16 AND-21 AT HOME INTERNATIONALS.
I think the Seniors should take a leaf out of what the junior section of the local clubs over the last 6 years have done where we nurtured and mentored the young anglers and the formation of a recognoised coaching system whice has bourn fruit.
Both John Kinsella and Philip o sullivan deserve a lot of praise for pushing this on and for giving their time as team coachs of the Munster under 16s and 21s and least i forget to the bold James McCarten on keeping the juniors to the forefront of the Munster Council.
To all the lads and Ladies that have represented both Tramore/Waterford and Rinnashark from the start who were on the Munster and Team Ireland well done as this could not have been done without YOUR input over the years.
And finaly to Niall you deserve it you are a credit to your club and the committee of Rinnashark SAC and on behalf of Myself and the committee of Tramore/Waterford Well done. One to watch in the future watch out seniors.

Re: GOLD MEADALS FOR =16 AND-21 AT HOME INTERNATIONALS.
The most praise for the sucess of the teams in Scotland should go to the senior anglers in the clubs who give their free time and get the kids involved in fishing. Without these people, these kids would not have an intrest in fishing from the start. It is the same senior anglers who run the, club junior master angler every year, who help keep these kids fishing until they are at the age, to fish for a place on the Munster teams.
So to those involved in the Rinnashark and Tramore Waterford junior section, and all the clubs who have juniors, WELL DONE and please keep up the good work, for without all of ye Philip and myself would have no TEAMS to work with.
