BOAT: myown
PEOPLE:myself ,paul ,pauls younger brother jodie ,jerry
BAIT:mackerel ,crab ,lug,sandeel
SPECIES: grey gurnard ,whiten ,mackerel, dog and dabs.
REPORT: first time out in at least a month due to weather and shore competitions.weather was not to bad little lumpy but ok couple of lads not used to it so limited options.headed out of dunmore and headed around the back of the pier where we got mackerel and whiten and grey gurnard.we then moved to a reef mark and gave one drift with not a tap as lads looked a bit green headeed to a bank for a few dab water not much better there so gave one drift with only a gurnard.we decided to move to a more sheltered spot up the estuary and anchored up with a big bag of rubby down in hope for a bag of dogs, but to my surprize no dogs till last half hour with 3 together in a few mins plenty of dabs every cast some small but a few nice one around the pound mark.

Re: dunmore 18th 7 08
Good fishing lads, nice Dabs. How far off Kilfarassey were you when you got them. Was that Coaster that was with you on the trip, I thought he had disappeared off the planet, I remember he used to be allowed go fishing regularly............not sure when that was though, and he used to go to committee meetings as well??????????????
