fished the pier tuesday night 11pm till 1am,caught a 12lb conger eel on mack fillet,great fight, tongue

well bob.i dont use lead when fishing for conger.a nice mack fillet and a very big hook.does the job.ive been getting a few along the rocks.at night.

well bob id use a 5 o up use very heavy line 100lb +or wire trace there are big conger all along there anywhere from the pier up and out along the rocks and on brownstown side too.any rock or pier mark can produce conger under your feet.
