Well Done to all in munster -16 -21 and ladies
Well done to every one who took part this year, there was a total of 371 fish caught over the 4 legs and there would have been more if we did not have to bring the last leg on Sunday last forward to be fished in daylight because of the bad weather forcast.
This was a very good competition and in each group there were countbacks on placing, and on fish to settle the final places.
Again I belive Munster will have two very strong teams travelling to Ulster in February.
Many thanks to all the clubs and club members and parents who took the lads to every leg. Without these people there would be no competition to be fished.
Thanks must also go to the people who acted as stewards over the 4 legs, again without you this competion would not have run so well.
This was the second year for the ladies and with 5 ladies fishing, what started as a friendly event for the first leg soon changed and for leg 2-3-4,I can tell you, the competitors in all of them came out and again it was a countback on placings that decided the winner.
I hope every one had a good time and enjoyed the fishing over the 4 legs and that we will see every one back next year.
Philip and John.
