Martin Halley 2018

This sun 21st Oct 2018 at 1pm the martin Halley will be fished in Woodstown. Entries till 12 noon in the Saratoga bar woodstown and the prize giving to follow back in the Saratoga after 5 pm .

The Martin Halley Memorial was fished in beautiful conditions in Woodstown today. 38 Seniors and 3 Juveniles entered and all anglers had fish. The winners were: Juveniles, 1st Alex Murphy, 2nd Carlo Vidovic, 3rd Henry Denny. Zone 1, 1st Arthur Carr, 2nd Curtis Connolly, 3rd Conor Purcell, 4th Jordan Muir, 5th Brian O'Neill. Zone 2 winners, 1st Paul Marshall, 2nd Nicky McEvoy, 3rd Tracey Whelan, 4th Ann Whitty, 5th Wally Flynn. The overall winner of the Memorial Trophy was Joe McEvoy. The pool winners for the longest fish were Barry Murphy and Paul Marshall. 231 fish were landed and included Bass Flounder Whiting and Coalfish. Anglers returned to The Saratoga for refreshments prior to the prizegiving. The club would like to thank all the anglers who participated as well as the Halley Family who attended the prizegiving.
